1- Pink is alcoholic, best described as freeze-dried whiskey.
2- Orange tastes like blackcurrant juice. It also gives you an amazing amount of energy.
3- Blue tastes like chocolate milk. Drink it and you'll become a child.
4- Red tastes sort of malty, and will make the drinker feel suddenly veeerrry sleepy. They'll be able to explore the dreams of those around them.
5- Purple tastes of orange juice, and will switch your sex.
6- Green just basically makes you want to have sex.
7- Yellow gives you the urge to fight anyone you see and tastes like a big dollop of Vegemite dropped in a glass of water.
8- Brown is Felix Felicis. It tastes like root beer, but makes everything come up Milhouse.

[So far Miach has cleaned his room, the room next to his and the room next to that. Now he's in the kitchen, sleeves rolled up past his elbows and suds up his wrists as he struggles with the ton of plates that build up when a great many people share one ship.]

After this, perhaps I'll go sort the books in the library. Or perhaps, cook dinner for my sister? Would you like to help?

[He worries his mouth a bit and then takes a deep breath. Gulliver has never been very good with children, but he knows better than to let one run about on its own... disturbing libraries and the like.]

Is your sister the one that takes care of you? [He cringes a bit at his own condescending tone.]

Oh, no. I am the elder sibling. [Older than this man too, he bets, but doesn't say anything.] Would you mind drying these?

Of course. [He accepts the plate and looks to his robes, then shyly takes a rag from the counter. Usually he just wipes whatever he plans to eat off of on his sleeve, but that wouldn't be very conscientious of him now.]

You are? [Gulliver's eyebrows quirk. As he wipes the dishes, he tries to think of something nice to say to this... not so little boy?] Well, you'll be thankful for your spryness later in life. I suppose.

[That was a strange thing to say, wasn't it? He focuses on the bowl he is drying.]

What? [Oh. Miach hunches his shoulders a little at the reference to 'later in life'. Should he say anything? Perhaps not. He dunks another plate and gives the man a sideways look, wondering if he should adjust his washing speed to accommodate this helper.]

Yes, perhaps I will. I do not normally feel so energetic, but I suppose these moods take us, on occasion. [He rinses another dish, then a second.] Would you like me to build a pile for you to dry? Or hand them to you directly?

[Gulliver blinks a few times, then nods. Strange to think he's the one holding them back.] A pile might be for the best, thank you. I'm rather a slow and steady sort of fellow...

[There is something strange about this boy, and not just the elevated level of energy. He can't quite put his finger on it, but it's there all the same. If only they were off this ship, then he might be able to read his humoural signature. With a sigh, he picks up another dish and begins to dry it.]

What does- What does your sister like to eat? [He ought to try to make conversation. If nothing else, this would be a good way to practice.]

[Miach begins a pile, out of the dishes he calmly but quickly scrubs. He won't have anything left to do soon, if he isn't careful.] I understand completely. I would usually be the same, but I find myself overtaken with a great deal more energy than I would normally.

[He almost doesn't hear Gully's next question, but swivels his head and blinks at him.] Sweets. She enjoys all manner of sweets.

Perhaps we might make a sponge? [That seems safe. He gives a shrug and hopes that is the right answer.]

I think the whole crew might enjoy it. After all, everyone likes cake.
