1- Pink is alcoholic, best described as freeze-dried whiskey.
2- Orange tastes like blackcurrant juice. It also gives you an amazing amount of energy.
3- Blue tastes like chocolate milk. Drink it and you'll become a child.
4- Red tastes sort of malty, and will make the drinker feel suddenly veeerrry sleepy. They'll be able to explore the dreams of those around them.
5- Purple tastes of orange juice, and will switch your sex.
6- Green just basically makes you want to have sex.
7- Yellow gives you the urge to fight anyone you see and tastes like a big dollop of Vegemite dropped in a glass of water.
8- Brown is Felix Felicis. It tastes like root beer, but makes everything come up Milhouse.

A conditional answer. [SooYun misses her shot, but succeeds in bunching up most the balls in one corner. She walks away from the table to chalk her stick.] Which is strange, given the circumstances. Conditional answers usually come from someone who has something to hide. Or from somebody too cowardly to speak their mind.

[She mirrors his pose and tries to look as stoic as possible.] It's a yes or a no. Or an 'I'm too chickenshit to say.'

[Leo has to hide a smile behind a hand. Wow, this lady takes guff from nobody.] It's more of a conservative answer. I don't have the manual for this place and I don't know anyone who does. It'll take someone a lot smarter than me to work out how to program the ship to get us back. So we need help to get home, otherwise we won't. Isn't that right?

[SooYun finishes her drink and goes to the bar to make another.] If I wanted an informed opinion, I'd ask an astrophysicist or an engineer, not... whatever you are. I wanted to know what your gut tells you. So I'll ask again. Are we going home [she takes a gulp, anticipating the answer] or not?

[Leo rests his cue against the snooker table and puts his hands on the edge, his back to the baize, watching her drink.] I'm a musician. So, no. Unless you've got the keys to the ship.

Harhar. [SooYun sits on the edge of the pool table, resting one ankle against the opposite knee. His is in the range of answers she'd been expecting, but not the ones she wanted to hear.] So we just drink and play shitty pool until we die floating around up here. Fantastic.

Well, we'll get better at pool. [He mentally lines up a shot, but the pool he plays in his head is always leagues better than what he takes to the table.] And I suppose there are worse things to do. We're not dead.

[She calls her shot and knocks the six ball into the corner pocket. A moment later, she puts down the two ball.]

I suppose I'll get better at pool. You won't get the chance. Four ball, side pocket.
